| Remarks: | Once spread via the SEAN C64 / Amiga Bulletin Board System, in the Zaanstreeek from the Netherlands. Schijnheilig is Dutch. Schijn = Schein (fake) Heilig = (holy). Basically it means to pretend you are (morally) better than you really are. Closest word in English would be "hypocritical" but it isn't exactly covering it. The word play in this picture of a nun wearing lingerie underneath then becomes clear. :) |
